Welcome to our new home....

So, we've been remodeling. Not just the website (which, I admit, just began), but our home. In fact, it's been the most consuming, overwhelming, and exciting thing that we've ever done together.

In October of 2015, we pulled the trigger on a massive remodel of our home in Des Moines, Iowa, finally beginning the change that we've been planning for 7+ years. Even when we purchased our house, here in a picturesque little neighborhood, in a coveted area of town, we knew there was work to be done.... No idea how much, but we knew. We're finally close to the end, there's a "light at the end of the tunnel," we'll say. So, on to the next plan: remodel Stacy Harper Photography.

I'd love to say that we've been so hard at work, that we've neglected the website. I'd love to say that we've had so many shoots that we didn't need to concern ourselves with the Marketing aspect. But I won't, and I can't. Again, all-consuming, overwhelming home remodel, right?

So, in the weeks to come, you should see a re-vamp of the site, some new content, a slew of updated galleries, and a bit more life here. At least, that's the goal. I'm going to try my hand at this blogging thing, as I believe that it's a good idea to rant about things every once in a while. Please excuse the randomness, the typographical errors, the grammatical inconsistencies, and the overuse of ellipses...
